let me juz reflect on certain things...
frens have often asked me why i din become a teacher like i used to, or become a journalist..well.. I am not really sure of what i wanna do u know.. besides, Singapore, you can really take to realisation that not all the minorities get all the good stuff you get what i meant??
Like my parents time, they are considered lucky in a way cuz they know all abt hardship and they get the job they have been having since they left uni.. they din have any career in mind. Mom din wanna get the job she first had.. being the SIA or model din get her anywhere.. being a singer, which she cud have been but she din.. maybe she knows why she din..cuz singapore is not the market where you can market your product, so to speak.
MOdelling, at that point of time was ok but its not a lifetime thing you get what i meant.. so she jzt went into this place to take up IT. during her era, IT is like 'what the fuck??' no one has heard of computers and IT shit ... they said its gonna be the biggest thing that will come into this world... wahhh better than sex eh?? hahhaaa! mom took the offer.. till now, she been wking there since.. being transfered to places to 'solve' the 'problems' some ppl been having.. handling the big stuff you get what i meant? like data processing and all that.. den she got promoted to supervisor and so on and so forth.
she always tells me education is priceless... you cant get to anywhere if you arent educated.. unlike in Aussie, you dun really need education to get elsewhere. thats cuz they have natural resources that they can juz milk the damn cow or shave the bloody sheep skin you can get all the money.. in singapore. what sheep?? what cow??? our land is not as meadow-y as the ones we saw at albany, or the country life in aussie... so different.
In Spore, you hv to be inept in the things you do. mom worked hard to be where she is now.. same as dad... he has been a technician.. now he has becomed a senior technician, that all the newcomwers has to go to him for anything.. they still asks him things.. there is no way that they can juz take him away like that.. thats what i tot too.. i mean technician only what... but then everytime, he comes back home with god knows what...till now... ahhaha! i think he has a great time wking there.. he can go to work as and when he feels like going... own boss ah! he watch tv at wk... go on the net, what else... yeah..wash his car, go to JB top up petrol. buy lunch there...
im telling you ... happy life la they... i wish i can be like them.. i shudnt have quit my job. but then, i really wanna find my true calling you get what i meant.??? since i got the PR and Adverising shit.. i think i shud be.. a DJ, perhaps? or what else lah.. go into acting or what.. model i cannot lahhh! too ambitious! hahaha im not that gorgeous lah!!! i need a full blown LIPO to be one! hahahahahhaha!
i was just tellin booo juz now over lunch, we were thinkin la.. boo earns like a day job over the weekend like abt 45bucks. boo said in the future who knows, he will be earning 4500 bucks..den in 10 years, boo earnings will mount up to 45,000 a mth! hahahahahaha!
which was why i told him that i wanted lipo hahaha! he was like no!!!! give me the money and i wud do all the lipo, slim wrap, nose job and all that... hahahahaha! ok lahh... i wait for the time to come ok?? hahahhaha! ok lah i think i am talkin shit again...
